Freedom 45 Auto utilizing a small primer to ensure 45 ACP ammo remains available. As large pistol primers became and continue to be scarce, LAX Ammo redesigned their 45 Auto to fit small pistol primers. With this change, there is no noticeable difference when firing in either recoil or shot placement. It is just a matter of the way the primer pocket is formed when the cases are manufactured.
